Cornerstone Baptist Church has many opportunities during the week for fellowship and worship. Please feel free to view our ministry opportunities available at Cornerstone.
Choir ( Sunday 7:00 PM Practice )
Second to the preaching of the Word of God is the music of the church. Choir music is a great expression of our theology and evangelistic outreach. Talented voices and voices that just like to sing, blend together to advanced our worship on each Lord’s Day. Whether the Choir is singing a Cantata, introducing the congregation to worship, or a performing a unique special, it’s purpose is to prepare the congregation for the presentation of the Work of God.
AWANA CLUBS ( Wednesday 6:15 PM- 8:10 PM )
This is an international, Bible-centered children’s ministry whose goal is to reach boys and girls, and their families with gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym “AWANA” stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Clubs are available for boys and girls 3 & 4 years old through the 9th grade.
Shepard’s Bible Study ( Wednesday 7:00 – 8:00 PM )
An open study of an individual book of the Bible or a contextual topic found within the Bible. This study is concluded with a prayer time as participants break up into prayer groups.
A Baptist camp ministry for children and youth that runs through the summer months with week-long programs for distinct age groups. A scholarship program to help defray costs is run through Cornerstone for the benefit of individual campers. Reaching kids with the message of salvation and personal dedication to God along with a genuine camp experience is the goal of BaYouCa.
We have a group of brothers and sisters in Christ who are committed to prayer. If you have a prayer need you can phone the church office with your request or can email your request by clicking here. Immediately your request will go to our Captains and begin to be prayed for.
Search the Scriptures Fellowship
A Bible devotional fellowship to put individuals into the scriptures on a daily basis. Reading the Bible is not optional; it is the most rewarding and essential exercise of Christian living.
World Wide Missions Outreach
Presently 30% of the church budget is used to reach the world outside of our own Jerusalem with the Gospel. This support comes from the general budget as well as the Faith Promise Giving of dedicated Christians with a desire to reach the World. A list of missionaries and mission ministries are listed on the prayer reminder each Wednesday evening and can also be found on our Missionaries Page.
Adult Sports Ministry
It is the mission of Cornerstone through sports to provide a ministry of outreach to the lost and a place of connection for those adults who are saved. Presently two sports are available for your participation. We have volleyball during January and February, and for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, a Sportsman Banquet and day of hunting.
Throughout the year we seek to reach our communities for Christ through a number of special outreach activities. It is our belief that evangelism is the spontaneous activity of all believers in reaching those in their immediate surroundings.
The Book Rack
The church library is open to the membership and those who attend Cornerstone. The library seeks to uphold the standards of the Words of God, to encourage spiritual learning and growth among it’s users, to provide Christian literature not readily found in other libraries, to introduce alternatives to Christian service, and to provide materials appropriate to the mental, emotional and spiritual levels, needs and interests of the library users.
Compact Disk Ministry
All messages are stored on Compact Disk and made available to the public at no charge.
